Getzen Marching F-horn -

Kanstul Bugle - G Bugle, Powerbore Model KSB102. This model has a heavy mouthpiece receiver and a smaller taper on the bell.

Saxhorn - This horn has berliner pumpen valves. The stamps on the bell show it won Medals at the Worlds Fair in Oporto Portugal in 1865 and in Philadelphia in 1876. A fellow collector, Ron Fabec, confirmed with Robb Stewart that this horn was manufactured by Schuster & Sohne based on the mark on the bell. Langwill's Index also reports the exibitions where it won Medals. The company was established in 1851 by Carl Schuster & his sons Carl Schuster Jr., Wilhelm Ludwig, & Henrich Waldemar. In 1881 they became Schuster & Co.

More to come....
